"In a completely rational society, the best of us would be teachers and the rest of us would have to settle for something less, because passing civilization along from one generation to the next ought to be the highest honor and the highest responsibility anyone could have."

- Lee Iacocca

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that we are all unique individuals endowed with many talents.
It is our goal in life to search through those talents and discover our strengths.

The identification of these strengths will help us enrich our lives, and the lives of those around us.

As an Education Professional I strive to bring out the best in my students.
This is done by holding everyone (including myself) to high expectations.
This strategy will help us create an active learning environment in which we can explore our talents and abilities.

Everyone regardless of age, culture or background has a World View.
This World View serves as a compass that helps guide his or her life.
I am a Christian and my World View reflects this as my point of reference.
Within the learning environment we will have Mutual Respect for everyone and his or her World View.

Knowledge is a gift.  Sometimes I am able to pass it on, but many times the students discover it for themselves.  As an educator it is my duty to help them achieve this knowledge.  We are then able as student and teacher to share in the success.
