Use Windows Moviemaker to Create a Multimedia Presentation
Windows
Moviemaker is found as an application on all versions of Windows XP
and Vista. It is a relatively easy tool to use in
conjunction with images to produce a multimedia presentation.
You could use the tool in PowerPoint to add audio and create the multimedia automated component, but the file becomes
very large and unmanagable for online use even through streaming.
Windows
Moviemaker has tools that will simplify your creation of a movie file.
This file will be in a .wmv format of course, and will only be
viewable by Windows based movie viewers. It is possible to
convert the file to other formats through free online tools which we
will discuss at the end of this tutorial.
For
the purposes of this tutorial we will focus on making a simple short
movie using slides originally created in PowerPoint. I will make
the assumption that you already know how to make a PowerPoint slide.
We will bring these slides into Windows Moviemaker and add an
audio component and even explore how to add credits at the end.
Microsoft
does have a information page on Moviemaker. Feel free to take a
look at it, as it has some good information and even some projects that
you could try on your own.

After completion of this tutorial you will be able to successfully Create an Audio Presentation using Windows Moviemaker.
If at any time you wish to return here, there is a Home button at the bottom of each page.
